Introduction

Victor Chernetsky, Ph.D., is a marketing strategy researcher, educator, and former marketing executive who bridges theory and practice by integrating industry insights into academic research and teaching.

Dr. Chernetsky's work focuses on complex managerial challenges related to firm strategic orientations, marketing in the C-suite, and the marketing-sales interface. His research has been presented at numerous conferences, supported by several research grants, and published in leading academic journals. He teaches at both undergraduate and MBA levels and is currently an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of St. Thomas. He earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from Michigan State University.

Prior to academia, Professor Chernetsky held senior marketing and management roles for nearly two decades at top global firms including Procter & Gamble, Wrigley Company, and Samsung Electronics. He has led marketing strategy development and execution across diverse industries and international markets, managed teams of up to 39 people, and overseen substantial marketing budgets. His leadership experience spans both multinational corporations and entrepreneurial ventures.
