Thomas Hoft

I'm an applied mathematician; my interests lie somewhere in the intersection of math, computing, and application disciplines. I like working on problems with direct connection to science, engineering, and industry. Currently I work in inverse problems for imaging, fast algorithms for chemical simulation, and image analysis for fluids and materials engineering. In the past I've worked on laser imaging, nondestructive evaluation, and experimental physics.
