Introduction
Shinwon Noh, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. Bridging the worlds of business and arts, she brings a unique perspective to business education that emphasizes cultural insight and human-centered approaches to entrepreneurship.
Noh's research focuses on cultural entrepreneurship and paradoxes in management, with particular expertise in creative industries. Her scholarship has been published in leading academic journals including Journal of International Management, Social Forces, Journal of Social Entrepreneurship, Poetics, among others.
As a passionate educator specializing in design thinking and innovation, Noh is deeply committed to creating an engaging and experiential learning environment that helps future business leaders understand the transformative power of human-centered design.
While actively engaging with arts organizations as a board member and volunteer, Dr. Noh continues to bridge theory and practice, both through her community involvement and her role as Associate Editor for Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange (EIX), an online peer-review publication providing resources for practitioners and educators. She received her PhD and Master's degree in Organizational Behavior from Cornell University.
