Introduction
Dr. Sarah Seitz is Clinical Faculty in the Department of Health and Exercise Science. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (2014) and a Master of Athletic Training (2015) from North Dakota State University, and a Clinical Doctorate in Athletic Training with a specialization in Teaching in Higher Education from Temple University (2023). Prior to coming to St. Thomas, Dr. Seitz spent 10 years working clinically as a Certified Athletic Trainer at various Division I institutions around the country.
Dr. Seitz holds professional certifications and licensures in Athletic Training (ATC), (LAT), Strength and Conditioning (CSCS), and various other clinical techniques such as Therapeutic Cupping, Active Release Techniques, and Dry Needling. Dr. Seitz’s research interests focus on Relative Energy Deficiency Syndrome (REDs) in the female athletic population. She has presented her research nationally at the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association (EATA) and the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
