Introduction
Over the years, I have contributed in a leadership capacity to four cross-curricular initiatives: The Academic Development Program, The Project for Mindfulness and Contemplation, the Information and Research Literacy component in the new core curriculum, and Writing Across the Curriculum (founding director since 2009). My teaching, research, and service span all four of these areas. In addition, I host community-wide Emily Dickinson Reading Marathons whenever I teach a graduate seminar on Dickinson. At St. Thomas since 1993.
