Eric John Chapman

I am a broadly trained ecosystem ecologist with interests in understanding the effects of climate change on social-ecological system structure and function. Increasingly, I am interested in urban ecology and sustainability science and how these perspectives can better inform adaptation to climate change. My current research is focused on using urban and peri-urban agriculture as accessible model systems to teach fundamental biological principles and to integrate research into the classroom.
