Introduction
Ms. Webster is a writer and educator, She is originally from Jamaica, West Indies and has lived in the USA since the age of ten. She had spent much of her life in the North East, particularly New York and Massachusetts. Her experience as an educator spans the K-16 setting. She teaches Critical Thinking & Writing in the Fall and Speculative Fictions in the Spring Her area of interest includes Education, Migration and Displacement, African American & Caribbean History, Poetry and prose, Ms. Webster is committed to teaching, learning, and inspiring future generations of learners. She enjoys engaging with students in building a community of learners, to ask questions, and building strong relationships that empower growth and flourishment. She believes in the power of education to change lives, and that education happens inside and outside of the classroom. Storytelling and amplifying the voices of students are at the heart of her teaching.
