Introduction

My research focuses on the neural and sensory basis of the vertebrate auditory system. I am particularly interested in how fish are adapted to detect sound in the underwater environment and the neural circuits involved in mediating auditory driven behaviors. I also study the impact of the environment, especially human generated noise, on fish behavior and sensory physiology.
