Dr. Radeen Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. She earned her PhD in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a minor in Research Methodology. Dr. Yang’s research focuses on improving teacher preparation experiences by aligning coursework and field-based learning to foster inclusive teacher identity development. Her work examines how teacher candidates navigate and integrate the values of both special and general education within dual certification programs. Dr. Yang is currently publishing findings from her dissertation, which explores teacher identity development in inclusive teacher preparation pathways.
