Soojung Han, Ph.D., teaches undergraduate and MBA classes in leadership and human resource management. Prior to joining St. Thomas, she was an assistant professor of management in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles.
Han’s main research focus is on understanding how leaders and their followers influence each other and the impact of leadership on team effectiveness. Her research has appeared in leading management journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Leadership Quarterly.
Before becoming a professor, she worked at one of the largest chemical companies in South Korea, Lotte Chemical. As an assistant manager, she was involved in overseas M&A projects, corporate valuation, and new business development.
