Introduction

I teach because I remember how lost I felt while navigating college and finding my path. I deeply valued the guidance I received from my professors and mentors during those pivotal times. Their support was instrumental in my journey, and I’m committed to paying it forward. In my teaching, I focus on the power of making connections-between concepts, between myself and my students, among classmates, and most importantly, between students and their own potential. As an educator, I find great fulfillment in working at DFC because it's not just a place to teach-it's a place where I can forge meaningful connections with students and support them on their journeys. My goal is to create a learning environment that not only embraces our differences but leverages them to enhance our collective educational experience. Working at DFC enables me to fulfill my passion for education in a way that makes a meaningful, lasting impact on our scholars.
