Lauren Patrin gained 10 years of industry experience working for Polaris Industries in various roles, including CAE Engineer, Test Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Program Manager. Since returning to academia, Lauren spent one year teaching at Dunwoody College of Technology before returning to her alma mater, The University of St. Thomas, to continue her teaching career. Lauren is actively involved in SWE (Society of Women Engineers).
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys staying active by any means possible, though her current favorites are calisthenics, biking, and yoga. Lauren is also a current coach for Lawns to Legumes, a program that enables anyone with a lawn to convert part of it into a pollinator garden.
