American literature of the 19th and 20th centuries
Introduction
I specialize in American literature of the 19th and 20th centuries and regularly teach courses in the American short story, multicultural literature, and modern American literature. I particularly enjoy teaching study abroad courses in Paris over J-term where we study the works of Ernest Hemingway, Langston Hughes, and other moderns where they lived, worked, and played.
