Julie Vang

As someone who comes from a low-income background, I understand firsthand the challenges and obstacles that many students face. I struggled through my own journey, navigating financial hardship, self-doubt, and the pressure of trying to succeed in an environment that felt out of reach. Those experiences have shaped my commitment to this work.

That's why it brings me so much joy and purpose to be a part of DFC. Here, I have the privilege of supporting not only students, but also the dedicated staff and faculty who are all working towards a shared vision. Together, we are creating a community where every scholar is seen, valued and equipped to achieve their fullest potential.
