Career / Bio

Dr. Holte has a background in kinematics and computer-aided design of planar-linkage mechanisms. She began teaching engineering in 1993 and joined the faculty at the University of St. Thomas in the Fall of 2009. Since 2015, Dr. Holte has also served as the School of Engineering's Community College and Transfer Coordinator.

Outside of work, Dr. Holte enjoys bicycling, singing, and mat Pilates. She is a strong advocate for literacy. She has been a volunteer educator working with immigrant children and adults since 2000 and currently serves as the Finance & Audit Chair of the Literacy Minnesota Board of Directors.
