Introduction
Although I teach a wide variety of literature in my classes, I am primarily interested in 19th and 20th century American literature with an emphasis on Nathaniel Hawthorne studies. I also enjoy teaching Civil War literature, which includes Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson and Stephen Crane.
