Introduction
Fr. Jean-Pierre Bongila is a full professor and director of the MA Educational Leadership in the Department of Educational Leadership. He holds degrees in Philosophy and Theology and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of San Francisco, CA. Dr. Bongila is a core doctoral faculty member who teaches foundational and research courses. His research areas span Educational Leadership, Comparative Education, and Ethical and Global Leadership. Through his yearly experiential study-abroad program, “Leadership in the International Contexts,” Dr. Bongila exposes UST graduate students to building bridges of cultures between the Global North and the Global South.
