Introduction

Captain Maria C. Anderson serves as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Recruiting Officer for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 410, at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is responsible for recruiting, training, and educating students to become Air Force and Space Force officers through the AFROTC program at St. Thomas. Prior to her currently role, Captain Anderson served as the Assistant Director of Operations at the 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Eielson AFB, Alaska.

Captain Anderson commissioned through the Reserve Officers Training Corps program as a Logistics Readiness Officer at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2019 as a distinguished graduate. She has served in a plethora of positions to include the Department of Defense's largest stateside aerial port, the Executive Officer of the 436th Maintenance Group, and coordinated logistics for the only F-35 squadrons in Pacific Air Forces Command. Her deployment experience includes supporting Operations SPARTAN SHIELD and INHERENT RESOLVE by standing up the 1st Expeditionary Theater Support Group and Logistics Squadron as the sole logistics officer.
