Introduction

Anastasiia Agolli, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Opus College of Business. She earned her Ph.D. in human resource management and organizational behavior from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

Her favorite thing about teaching management is that its principles are so universal – they apply to one’s personal life, interpersonal relationships, and a variety of organizational settings. In her teaching, Agolli fosters a positive learning environment, promotes active learning and collaboration, and emphasizes the real-world value of what students are learning.

Agolli’s research mainly focuses on understanding how people can manage their work and nonwork lives in ways that help them thrive personally and professionally. She also examines how organizations can facilitate such thriving. Her research has appeared in leading management journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Occupational Health Psychology.
