Abstract
C̣aƞtemaza (Neil McKay), an instructor of Dakota language and American Indian history at the University of Minnesota, discussed how U.S. Indian policy, the church, and Euro-American citizens have affected the Dakota language and spirituality as well as current Dakota language revitalization efforts.
