The Cost of Resource Exchange (CORE) standard is a protocol used to move cost data between electronic resource management (ERM) systems and integrated library systems (ILS). This presentation describes how and why the CORE standard was developed, and the methods developed to move from Innovative Interfaces (III) ILS to Serials Solutions ERM while the community waits for the standard to be adopted.
