Annotation: Draws on queer theory and Freud s theory of the uncanny to explore the thematic destabilization of gender and sexuality permeating both stories. Rub czki argues that the characters sexuality resists the homo-heterosexual binary, reading their difficulties in creating, transcribing, and citing poetic texts as a reflection of gender crisis.
