The concepts of national, social, and organizational identity are drawn upon to develop a 3-phase process for managing diversity as an asset. Specific guidelines will help managers to apply the process in a variety of contexts, including: 1. cross-cultural training, 2. negotiations with global business partners, and 3. cross-cultural product development and marketing.
