Abstract

Children with disabilities Education Intervention Quality of life
A 2015 national survey in Zambia reported a 7.2% prevalence of childhood disability. As many as 40% of Zambian children with disabilities have never attended school and experience a suboptimal quality of life. The project sought to develop and test an intervention for Zambian children with disabilities through family and community engagement, advocacy and skill building, and system links.
