Abstract

Dyes Environmental Monitoring Water Pollution Water Treatment
Food and cosmetic dyes were identified and measured in colored wastewater samples from a municipal treatment plant. Xanthene dyes were found in low parts per billion concentrations in the plant influent and were rapidly removed by adsorption to sludge.
