Abstract
The International Conductors Exchange program is part of the work of ACDA's standing committee for international activities, chaired by Dr. T. J. Harper. Dr. Ashley Conway is a choral director and adjunct professor of music education at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA, and also my mentee through the mentorship program. [...]following the model of ICEP (International Conducting Exchange Program), it just seemed like this is something we normally should do and really needed to do. Building bridges with ICEP has an exponential growing effect where you see other conductors, other singers, other people are watching and listening and copying. Burch: It's been fun to watch the things that you're doing with your choirs, like when you sent me your most recent virtual choir to listen to just to hear how you've gained your confidence since those initial conversations.
