Abstract
In this paper, three genres of Ecuadorian music will be presented in search of additional curriculum for beginning 5th grade band. The three Ecuadorian genres are discussed as follows bomba, sanjuanito, and pasillo. This project's scores and lesson plans aim to provide enrichment lessons for students ready for the next step in their musical journeys or possible small ensemble performances.
