Abstract
This project applies the ideas and philosophies of Kodály and Orff to develop an elementary general music curriculum and concept guide for kindergarten through fifth grade. The introduction summarizes the principles of Orff and Kodály and how they can be used together in the classroom. The following sections are organized by grade level, from lowest to highest, and include concepts organized week by week, main concepts linked to North Dakota State Music Standards, and monthly objectives for students, guardians, and administrators.
