Abstract
This dataset is a collection of lake watersheds and calculated parameters such as watershed area, population density, average building age, impervious surface cover, land cover, and land use. This data was created to understand the relative role of runoff inputs and other hydrological connections versus internal cycling for different water quality parameters in lakes across the metropolitan area for research projects on urban lake water quality. We envision it will be useful in other future comparative lake research projects to give landscape context to observed lake variability.
