Abstract
Using India as a case study, Das (Univ. of Minnesota Duluth) examines the interrelationship between a state's strategic culture, international relations, and national security policies. She adopts a critical social-constructivist approach to understanding this interrelationship. However, she goes beyond the standard social-constructivist conception of strategic culture, arguing that the latter is not just a product of a state's history and culture but also socially constructed.
