Abstract
Khan (Naval Postgraduate School) provides a comprehensive history of Pakistans nuclear program. Despite numerous economic, technical, security, and political challenges and barriers, this program has been going on for the last four decades. Khan explains the reasons behind Pakistans dogged pursuit of nuclear deterrence, including why it was willing to pay any price to achieve nuclear capability.
